North Carolina gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson was hospitalized Friday night after an “incident” at a marketing campaign occasion, Fox Information Digital has confirmed.
“Lt. Governor Mark Robinson is at present being handled for burns following an incident at a marketing campaign occasion in Mt. Ethereal. He’s in good spirits,” Robinson marketing campaign communications director Mike Lonergan instructed Fox Information Digital.
The extent of Robinson’s accidents is unknown and it’s unclear precisely how Robinson was burned.

The CNN report revealed feedback Robinson allegedly made greater than a decade in the past on a porn website message board, describing himself as a “black NAZI”; saying he preferred transgender pornography; saying he favored Hitler over then-President Barack Obama in 2012; and criticizing the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. as “worse than a maggot.”
Robinson has denied saying these phrases, however Republicans are beginning to distance themselves from the candidate, who, if elected, could be North Carolina’s first black governor.
