NEW BRAINTREE, Mass. — A Massachusetts State Police recruit died a day after shedding consciousness and struggling a “medical disaster” throughout defensive ways coaching, authorities stated.
Enrique Delgado-Garcia, 25, died Friday at a hospital, a day after the train on the Massachusetts State Police Academy in New Braintree, division spokesman Tim McGuirk stated in a press release Friday evening. New Braintree is about 80 miles (129 kilometers) northeast of Boston.
McGuirk stated the academy’s medical crew responded to the scene instantly after Delgado-Garcia grew to become unresponsive. They decided he required pressing medical consideration and took him to the hospital, the place he died.
