New Croatian authorities receives confidence vote in Zagreb meeting

After Croatia’s April 17 elections, a brand new authorities led by Croatian Democratic Union chief and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic has taken cost.

In a vote held within the 151-seat Nationwide Meeting within the capital of Zagreb, the newly-formed authorities secured a vote of confidence with 79 “sure” votes and 61 “no” votes from members of parliament, with one abstention.

Plenkovic, who will lead the federal government for the subsequent 4 years, was sworn in as prime minister.

Croatian Democratic Union’s third consecutive victory
