A 43-year-old man in New York was arrested over the weekend after a 6-year-old allegedly left a candy-filled Halloween goody bag on his porch by mistake.
In response to a press launch from the Nassau County Police Division, a 42-year-old mom in Lengthy Island, New York drove her daughter, two sons, and nephew to a house to drop off a Halloween “boo bag” to her good friend.
After arriving on the good friend’s residence, the girl’s 10-year-old daughter and 6-year-old previous dropped off the treats on the residence’s entrance porch.
Nonetheless, the 10-year-old woman quickly realized that the deal with she had used for her good friend “might have been incorrect,” police mentioned.

Authorities mentioned that the household returned to the house and the 6-year-old exited the automotive to retrieve the goody bag.
Police mentioned that because the 6-year-old went to retrieve the bag, the entrance door opened and Michael Yifan Wen, 43, exited and pointed a black handgun on the boy’s head.

Two folks near household, who didn’t need to be recognized by identify, mentioned the incident with FOX 5 New York.
“The child is simply traumatized,” one supply mentioned. “He couldn’t sleep final night time. It was very scary.”

The 43-year-old was charged with Menacing 2nd Diploma and Endangering the Welfare of a Baby. He pleaded not responsible at his arraignment on Sunday, October 29.
