“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on TikTok is unacceptable. A video mocking Victor was first opened, before it has now been deleted”

Roberto Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent, wrote this on Twitter.

The background is a video of Osimhen calling for a penalty in the match against Bologna, which ended 0-0. Moreover, the video shows how he takes the penalty kick and then misses it. Throughout the entire video, Osimhen has a clear baby voice, as if played at high speed.

“Give me a punishment please,” the voice is heard saying, followed by:

“Oh, punishment! Great, you’re giving me a fine.”

Then the clear voice starts laughing as you watch Osimhen miss the penalty.

– This causes a lot of damage, for a player who has already suffered from the treatment of media reports and fake news lately. We reserve the right to take legal action and take all useful measures to protect Victor, the agent further writes.

The penalty shootout won’t be the only spot video aimed at the Nigerian. A few days earlier they allegedly posted a video with a photo of Osimhen in which a clear voice sings:

“I’m not a boy, I’m not a girl. I’m a coconut.”

Several people on social media are calling the video racist.

Osimhen was already in the spotlight of the Italian media after an outburst against coach Rudi Garcia when he was substituted in the match against Bologna. He is said to have later apologized for the incident.

Napoli won the competition for the first time in 33 years last season. Osimhen became the top scorer in Serie A with his 26 goals.

The start of the competition with new manager Rudi Garcia was not so good. Napoli is in seventh place with eight points after five games.

Napoli has not yet responded to the much-discussed video.

Matteo Bonetti, commentator for CBS Sports in the US, commented simply and clearly on the matter on Twitter:

“What the hell are Napoli doing?”

The Nigerian was one of the most popular attackers in Europe last year and was linked to Manchester United, among others.

It is not the first time that Osimhen has ended up in the media because of his temper:
