More than 200 prisoners of war have been released in an exchange between Ukraine and Russia.
Both sides have confirmed that 106 Russians and 100 Ukrainians have been released.
Defenders of the city of Mariupol and its Azovstal steel plant were among those released, according to Ukrainian presidential aide Andriy Yermak.
A negotiation process led to the exchange, the Russian defense ministry said.
Periodic exchanges of prisoners have continued since the beginning of the war, in rare moments of direct contact between the parties.
