This week, an “aggressive cow” was reported on the campus of a Pennsylvania university, disturbing students, staff and locals as she trotted through town.
Students at Kutztown University received a warning on Sunday that the dangerous bovine was roaming the area and were instructed to stay away from the animal.
“Everyone should stay away from the cow. The animal is not safe to approach,” an alert from Kutztown University police said Sunday.
The message, titled “Avoid North Campus: Aggressive Cow – DO NOT APPROACH” was sent on Sunday after police were notified of the animal at around 7:15 p.m.

Footage shows the reported “aggressive cow” running down Main Street in Kutztown, Pennsylvania after a warning was issued warning students and staff to stay away from the escaped animal.
Images taken by witness Aaron Merkel from the driver’s seat of his car show the cow trotting through the city. The animal was chased by Kutztown police as it made its way down Main Street.

Officials reported that the cow appeared unfamiliar with the area and was disoriented, not heading anywhere in particular, according to Local 21 News.
Police and law enforcement reportedly interacted with the owner of the cow, who arrived at the scene to help secure the cattle.
Kutztown, Pennsylvania, police and law enforcement released an update later Sunday night explaining that the cow had not yet been restrained but was no longer in the immediate vicinity and posed no threat to students, staff or local residents.

The department issued a new report around 9 p.m. that same night, confirming that the cow was no longer near campus and posed no further threat to public safety.
The animal was last seen in the Fleetwood area.
Fox News Digital contacted Kutztown University Police for clarification on the outcome of the cow hunt.
Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
