The suspect charged with injuring a Philadelphia police officer at a visitors cease and dashing has turned himself in to authorities.
Eddy Brito-Almonte, 20, is accused of dragging a police officer together with his automobile throughout an investigation into his silver Tesla sedan on Monday.
“(Brito-Almonte) is in custody”, Cpl. Jasmine Reilly of the Philadelphia Police Division instructed Fox Information Digital on Wednesday. “He turned himself in to the Philadelphia Police Division in a single day.”
The Philadelphia Police Division stories that the injured officer, a freeway patrolman, pulled over Brito-Almonte after witnessing a cease signal on the 5400 block of Charles Road within the Wissinoming neighborhood.
