Nicolas will provide expert advice and guidance on specific issues and areas of responsibility related to rugby and matters of concern on the African continent. French-Gabonese entrepreneur Nicolas Pompigne-Mognard (www.Pompigne-Mognard.com) brings a wealth of experience as well as an extensive network of prominent connections in his role as Special Advisor to the President of Rugby Africa.

Herbert Mensah was unanimously and overwhelmingly elected President of the World Rugby’s African Association, Rugby Africa, in March. Both he and Nicolas share a determination to face numerous challenges, including governance, the right to play and the limited number of competitions due to the underfunding of rugby in Africa.
Finding new ways to raise the profile of African rugby through media exposure and investment opportunities will be an important part of Nicolas’ role as Special Advisor.
Nicolas sits on various advisory boards, task forces and international committees and transfers his knowledge and expertise to various organisations.
