Prince William has made a secret trip to Poland to “personally thank” Polish and British troops supporting Ukraine.
The Prince of Wales visited the military base in Rzeszow, 60 miles from the Ukrainian border – the closest the royal family has come to war.
For security reasons, the visit was kept secret until the prince left the base.
Prince William met with the Polish defense minister and troops of the Polish Territorial Defense Forces to learn about the support they are providing to Ukraine, praising their “passion” and “determination to protect our shared freedoms”.
