Far-right Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) stepped into a fap over the rainbow flag and was quickly mocked on Twitter.

Greene was offended by the waving of the LGBTQ flag outside the Gaylord Texas Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, during her speech there at a conference hosted by the right-wing college group US turning point.

It flew alongside the Stars and Stripes and the Texas state flag, she said.

“They should be ashamed. They should be ashamed. They should be ashamed that they put that flag up there. They should be ashamed,” said Greene, who is no stranger to going out on homophobic tirades. “Because it shouldn’t be about what people do sexually that makes us hang a flag somewhere.”

“The only flags that should ever be put up are our flag of the United States and a flag of a state, so shame on the Gaylord,” Greene continued, later telling the audience, “I’m surprised any of you did that has not done. flag poll not yet and removed.”

Greene shared a video of her rant on Twitter here:

“Flags should not be flown because of so-called ‘sexual identity,'” she wrote.

Critics accused the Donald Trump supporter of hypocrisy:
