The New Orleans Saints reportedly made a head teaching transfer lower than 24 hours after the staff suffered a one-point loss to the Carolina Panthers.
The Saints fired Dennis Allen, ESPN reported Monday. The Saints are on a seven-game dropping streak.
Allen is the second head coach to be fired this season, weeks after the New York Jets relieved Robert Saleh of his head teaching duties.
The 52-year-old was requested to take over the staff following the departure of Sean Payton. Final season he guided the Saints to a 9-8 report, however over the course of two.5 years the staff by no means made the playoffs.
He was 18-25 as head coach of the Saints.
