The influencer said that “he has nothing to hide. “A show was made of something totally simple, but that’s how it works,” he questioned.

Santiago Maratea explained this Wednesday night the reasons why the General Inspection of Justice (IGJ) put its magnifying glass on the trust that it carries out to help the Independiente club, after that body described the solidarity collection as “irregular and ineffective ” and will order the appointment of an inspector.

In the first of the stories he published on his Instagram account, the influencer specified that 811,636,550 pesos have been collected (the goal was to reach 20 million dollars to pay the debts of the Avellaneda entity). Then he went right into the topic of the day regarding his initiative.

“I make it short and clear so that it is understood, especially by the people who are interested in this collection. Those who don’t, won’t be interested in anything I say, because what I’m going to say is the truth. And as I once said, in this country the truth is hardly credible, ”she shot in one of his first sentences.

Then, he indicated: “I am not even defending myself from what they have said in the media, which said that IGJ said that (the trust) is irregular, ready, it is saying that it is shady and that Santi Maratea is a drug trafficker and launders money, and not ”.

“There is nothing that unites the trust with Capital, for which reason it should not be registered with IGJ. However, we presented ourselves to the IGJ of good will and asked them how we could help them”, revealed Maratea.

And he added: “When we introduced ourselves to the IGJ, he told us why, if Santi lives in the Capital, he did not register the trust in the IGJ. The answer was Santi does not live in the Capital. Short. So they said that last year Santi registered his foundation in IGJ and our answer was that last year I lived in the Capital, but now I moved to the province. End”.

“We said to register the trust in IGJ to show our good will and that, since it is a national issue, if they wanted to see it, they can do it, without any problem,” he added, referring to the IGJ.

Then the explanation continued: “We had until May 29 to present the trust in IGJ. Actually, it was until May 24, but since it was a holiday, it goes to the next business day, which is the 29th.

It was there when he specified the real problem, according to his version. “We did not present the trust on the 29th because we were late, this is true, drafting the addendum that goes with the trust and we presented it today on the 31st. Those two days of delay, is the irregularity, which is already corrected, because we already presented the trust in IGJ today in the morning”, he remarked.

“Neither I, nor anyone from my team, nor anyone from the trust have anything to hide from IGJ, because everything we do is in law,” added the influencer.

He also complained about “people who are looking to make things up.” “It’s like those who want to establish that the trust is against shady… And how was it approved then and do we have CUIT? Why did we do it in Neuquén? Are they saying that the entire School of Notaries and the AFIP of Neuquén are shady and are in complicity with me? They know that it is impossible and that is why they never question them, ”he explained.

And he added: “To those who say that money is being laundered, learn what compliance is. If they knew, they would understand that it is impossible”.

“A show was made of something totally simple, but that’s how it works,” he lamented at the closing of his exhibition.

The trust to help Independent

At the launch of the trust, Maratea established that the objective was to reach 20 million dollars to pay the debts of Independiente, a club that is currently inhibited by FIFA due to the claim by América de México derived from the payment of the Paraguayan pass. Cecilio Domínguez, a transaction that the previous management, chaired by Hugo Moyano, did not complete.

It is about 5.7 million dollars in total and until that figure is paid, the Avellaneda entity will not be able to incorporate soccer players. In addition, youth players over the age of 15 who signed up in 2023 will not be able to perform in their categories either.

Both supporters and former players and current members of the Rojo squad and coaching staff collaborated financially through the Mercadopago account opened by Maratea.
