Four months have passed since Shakira and Bizarrap released Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53, a song that has been a success for both of their artistic careers, as it has led them to obtain four Guinness records and to have their music heard in all sides. However, in recent days it was rumored that the friendship between celebrities had ended, since the Argentine producer asked his audience not to sing the song.
During the presentation at the Tecate Emblema Festival in Mexico, Bizarrap included his hit with Shakira, but asked those present not to sing it, but only to jump. This caused the Argentine to receive a lot of criticism and the rumor began that the friendship between the two had ended.
Internet users even recalled Gerard Piqué’s statements about the possibility of collaborating with Bizarrap, for which they assured that the Argentine could now have a friendship with the ex-soccer player.
However, the rumors about their estrangement ended on May 20 when Shakira posted a photo with Bizarrap on her Instagram account. For users of social networks, this publication was not a coincidence, since it was the same day that Gerard Piqué shared a new photograph with Clara Chía Martí.
This is the first time that Shakira and Bizarrap have been seen together since their presentation on Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night Talk program, in March 2023. On that occasion, the artists recounted how the idea of working together began and the records what they had achieved at the time.
Currently, Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 has over 500 million views on YouTube, making it Bizarrap’s most viewed video to date.

Shakira published a photograph together with Bizarrap and with the Argentine rapper, Duki. What pleased her fans, who asked for a collaboration of the three. “We want another collaboration”, “Shakira polishing the diamonds in the rough”, “Is she coming with a friend? Let me know to be ready” and “another success is coming”, are some of the comments that the followers left in the publication.
But the two Argentine musicians also comment on the post: “It’s always good to see you, Shaki,” said Bizarrap. While Duki thanked for the food they shared together. “The boss and the boss, thanks for dinner,” he wrote. In the comments you can also see reactions from celebrities like Camila Cabello.
Shakira also shared a photo of Bizarrap on her Instagram stories, in which the Argentine musician is seen wearing a hat and the text “Bizaquillero”. The producer also reposted the photo saying “how I love you, Shaki.”
