A 17-year-old girl was killed by a bus when she was escaping on a motorcycle with her boyfriend from motorcycles that were chasing them to rob them. The event occurred in Lomas de Zamora, last Thursday.
It all started when Tiara Cáceres and her boyfriend Sebastián went to buy something to eat on their motorcycle, around 8:30 p.m. During the journey, they began to be chased by two motorcycles that were circulating through Campana, at the intersection with Ricardo Palma, in Ingeniero Budge.
The two assailants threatened the couple with weapons, the young man behind the wheel of the motorcycle accelerated and there began a race to the death. The couple was attacked by an inmate from line 101, who according to Tiara’s father, Emiliano, “was driving offline and with the lights off” and remarked that at the time of the chase “the criminals began to shoot.”
While the teenager died a few minutes later at the scene, her boyfriend received minor injuries. “They did not have an accident because it was a chase for the robbery. They were only looking for a refuge in the police station that they had 40 meters away, very close, and they tied with the bus because of the scare, ”said his grandfather Horacio.
“I want those responsible to pay for what they did, for the Police to get to work. They just went out to buy something to eat. My daughter had dreams and projects, that has already been destroyed. A few meters from where she was robbed is the police booth and they did nothing,” she told TN. On her part, his grandfather, Horacio, remarked that “the ambulance did not arrive on time.”
Projects that were forgotten
Tiara was the oldest daughter in the family, she had four younger brothers than her. Like any girl her age, she also had goals: “She was 17 years old; They took our lives from all of us. She was studying, now she was finishing (school) and at the same time she was working doing nails and eyelashes. She was also about to rent a place to do her work. They just took her whole life out of her, ”said Horacio with anguish.
Then one of her friends took the microphone, who, through tears, came to say: “She was a sister to me. they tore me apart We lived together, we slept together, we did everything. They ruined me.”
When he finished, he read the last message he received from Tiara that said “friend, I went out let’s do something”, but they never saw each other again. “I am waiting for her. We want justice to be done, ”she sentenced.
UFI 10, specialized in guilty crimes and headed by Patricio Pérsico, was in charge of the investigation and ordered an autopsy to be carried out on the body of the fatal victim to determine whether or not he received bullets from the motorcycles during the pursuit.
