An Orangeburg, South Carolina, man has been charged with homicide after the stays of a former roommate was discovered buried beneath a fireplace pit within the yard of his dwelling, in accordance with police.

The Myrtle Seaside Police Division stated 54-year-old Sheridan Dirk Fogle of Orangeburg was arrested on Thursday and charged with the homicide of 51-year-old Penni Whiteside.
