Silvia and Gabriel Tettamanti, wife and son of the owner of the premises, received bullets in their legs and the criminals are wanted by the police.

Two of the owners of the Tettamanti jewelry store, from the Buenos Aires town of San Pedro, were shot this Thursday around noon when two armed criminals tried to rob the premises.

The security cameras of the store recorded the moment in which, while Silvia, the wife of Raúl, the owner, accommodates merchandise behind the counter, a man rings the bell to enter.

The lady does not see them seconds before, but the images reveal how the criminals waited for the right moment to carry out the coup.

When Silvia notices the intention of those who she thought were potential buyers to enter, she walked just a few steps towards the door of the small store located at Pellegrini 1080.

First a large man enters, with a black cap, a green jacket, gray jeans and white sneakers. He doesn’t say hello and takes a few steps into the jewelry store, his eyes on the merchandise.

Behind him, his accomplice, also dressed in green and black, with dark glasses on his head and a cell phone in hand. While the owner of the jewelry store returned behind the counter, the criminals exchange nods of approval to start the assault.

The first to have entered the premises is the one who corners Silvia and the other, from behind, points the gun at her. The lady, by screaming and asking that they not harm her, draws the attention of Raúl and Gabriel, her son, who come out to defend her.

At that moment, a strong but brief struggle breaks out in which the weapon is fired and injures the mother and son, both in one of their legs, the instant before the attackers decide to run away without taking anything. The police are still looking for them.

The assailants, according to what witnesses provided and what could be reconstructed later, fled in the direction of Avenida 3 de Febrero, where they separated.

Silvia and Gabriel Tettamanti were transferred and are recovering favorably at the “Dr. Emilio Ruffa” Subzonal Hospital to later be referred to the Coopser Sanatorium.

Raúl himself gave details of what happened: “It’s a fraction of a second, everything happens so fast. I came out of the back room and they were there. They threatened me with a weapon that we should go inside. And it must have been my son, I don’t know why it happened All in a fraction of a second, he tried to stop them. When they touch your son, the mom and dad go behind, a struggle breaks out, a shot and they run away. There were two, I saw two, but you don’t know why it’s a matter of seconds.” .
