Four alleged assailants were surprised by a group of people, including motorists, when they were stripping motorists of their belongings in zone 9 of the capital.
The incident took place on Avenida de la Reforma this Monday, May 15, when people who were watching a group of assailants followed them for several meters until they reached them and then beat them.
The subjects tried to flee, but agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) intervened and apprehended them, to later transfer them to the Torre de Tribunales and resolve their legal situation.
In videos shared on social networks, it is observed when the subjects are beaten with helmets and other blunt objects, in addition to kicks and herds, while they were put on a PNC patrol car.
After a few seconds in which they were beaten, the PNC agents took them away in the vehicle to be turned over to the judicial authorities.
Motorists indicated that they quite frequently observe groups of robbers when they operate on that route, as they wait for the traffic lights to stop traffic to threaten the occupants of the vehicles and demand their valuables.
