Suspects sought over ‘archeological theft’ at Canyonland Nationwide Park in Utah

The Nationwide Park Service (NPS) is looking for the general public’s assist in monitoring down a pair who allegedly stole artifacts from Canyonland Nationwide Park in Utah.

In a press launch, the company stated that on March 23, the couple entered the Cave Spring Cowboy Camp within the Needles district of the park and went right into a closed space of the camp to take away artifacts from a cupboard.

The NPS stated that the couple “dealt with historic harnesses in a way that had the potential to break them.”

The NPS stated that the parks are “among the most particular, treasured and guarded” areas.

Park officers are asking for suggestions from anybody who was within the space, in addition to anybody who will help determine the suspects.
