Texas police arrest suspect in ‘focused’ Chick-fil-A capturing that left two individuals lifeless

Police in Texas say the person they have been searching for after a lethal capturing that left two individuals lifeless at a fast-food restaurant is in custody and on an “ICE maintain.”

Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, 37, was wished Wednesday night after a capturing occurred at a Chick-fil-A within the 5300 block of North MacArthur Boulevard in Irving, police introduced on Fb.

“We are able to verify that the suspect was taken into custody early this morning,” an Irving Police spokesperson informed Fox Information Digital on Thursday morning, later including that Mendoza Argueta is on an “ICE maintain,” with the Immigration Command Bureau and Naturalization. The capturing occurred round 3:40 p.m., in keeping with an arrest warrant that recognized one of many victims as Patricia Portillo. The doc says Mendoza Argueta is the spouse of a Chick-fil-A worker who witnessed the incident and “positively recognized the suspect.”

Police say the second sufferer’s identify was faraway from the doc as a result of a notification needed to be made to subsequent of kin.

Through the manhunt, police launched a photograph of Mendoza Argueta, alongside a photograph of the 1997 Honda 4-door automobile wherein he was final seen.

An official stated they believed the capturing was “a focused incident and that this was not a random act of violence.”

Tv footage confirmed screens positioned in some home windows of a Chick-fil-A restaurant and several other police vehicles within the closed parking zone.
