The National Tourism will launch its fourth date this weekend in Concordia, with a novelty. Figgo Bessone, Tito’s youngest son, will debut in Class 3, after a start in Class 2, a division that he shared with Ramiro Cano. The two are united by a particularity: they run on their parents’ team.
After the experience accumulated in three rounds in Class 2 of the TN, Bessone -18 years old- will share the Tito Bessone Toyota Racing with the reigning champion of the category, Julián Santero.
“It is a pride to run in my dad’s team and I think we will have good results,” he told the Pole Position site some time ago, who was champion in the Abarth Cup in 2022, when he also went through the TC2000 Series, Fiat Competizione and TCR South America.
In the recent statement made on social networks, his father wrote: “Very happy to announce the arrival of Figgo Bessone in Class 3 of National Tourism in Tito Bessone Toyota Racing, with a Toyota Corolla. From date 4, which will be will compete in Concordia, Figgo will be sharing the track with the best drivers in the country in one of the most competitive categories in Argentina”.
In addition, Ernesto Bessone highlighted on his Instagram account that his son “will have great technical support, Esteban Pou in the engines, Gaby Rodriguez in the chassis, Ruben Solis as Technical Director, Leo Pane as track engineer and an excellent group of mechanics. “.
Ramiro Cano, a native of Totoras (Santa Fe), also came to the TN from the Abarth Cup and is the son of the renowned Gustavo Cano, owner of the Crucianelli GC Competition team, where two figures from the category such as Facundo Chapur and Juan Bautista de Benedictis compete. .
