The Assembly decided to postpone the discussion and approval of the draft law for some changes in the law ‘On national taxes’.
Deputy Eduart Shalsi said that some technical errors contained in this draft law should be fixed.
Immediately, the opposition MPs reacted, accusing the majority of acting as they wish with laws and draft laws.
Deputy Jorida Tabaku asked to discuss the scheme for farmers.
“Individual discussions about the law that affects only one producer, this parliament should be ashamed to discuss them”, said the deputy in her reply.
While the deputy Dashnor Sula said that the Albanian economy “is in the worst days”. He demanded that the oil tax be abolished.
“Worry about other taxes as well. Get rid of that oil tax that is destroying the economy. The Albanian economy is in its worst days. The road you started is a dead end. There is no international report that says a good word. Even what we have proposed you want to do now in the election campaign. Do not close the parliament for a month, as you intend, but let’s continue the work”.
