A shark jumped out of the water and with its jaw rammed a man’s boat in Caribbean waters.
Images of a tiger shark leaping out of the water and attacking a fisherman’s kayak with its massive jaws continue to horrify the world. The video of the chilling moment shook social networks.
In general, sharks do not pay attention to boats if there is no bait or something to attract them. All in the middle of a habitat that is usually hostile due to the variety of aggressive species.
In fact, biologists say, they are much less aggressive than what the movies or series insist on showing.

Anyway, exceptions abound, one of them has to do with the shocking images recorded in Oahu, Hawaii.
A shark attacks a fisherman in a kayak
Scott Haraguchi is a fisherman who was calmly sailing with his kayak as on many other occasions, enjoying a fabulous day.
Suddenly, however, a tiger shark emerged from the depths and dove to the side of the boat with a jaw-dropping jaw.

Haraguchi believes that the animal may have mistaken the kayak for prey, such as a seal, he told KITV.
Viral video of the attack at sea
The fisherman uploaded the video to YouTube, to the channel Hawaii Nearshore Fishing.
There he explained that the attack was so fast and sudden that he had not even found out what had happened until he reviewed the images once he arrived home safely.

“I hear a whistle, look up and see a wide brown thing on the side of the kayak,” Haraguchi said, broadcasting 20 Minutes.
“At first I thought it was a turtle. It happened so fast I didn’t notice and I stuck my left foot out of the water to protect myself from the impact and actually pushed the shark’s head off with it,” he recalls of his reaction.
To conclude, recognize that if you were asked to do that again, even without the shark, “you won’t have that flexibility.” After all, a miracle in the calm waters of the Caribbean.

What does a tiger shark look like?
The tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier) is a species belonging to the family Carcharhinidae and the only living representative of the genus Galeocerdo.
With a stout body, it reaches a maximum weight of more than 850 kilos and is about 5.5 meters long.
The Tiger Shark can weigh more than 850 kilos.
It is considered a top predator, which means that it has no natural predators and is at the top of its food chain.
The tiger shark has an aggressive and indiscriminate feeding style, using surprise as part of its attack. It hides at the bottom of the sea to approach its chosen prey at high speed before it can escape.
