The auditions for Netflix’s Avatar: The Final Airbender (which premiered as we speak on the streamer) have been very cloak and dagger.
Netflix went to nice lengths to maintain the auditions secret – together with writing pretend scenes set in a financial institution.
That brought about some confusion even for the auditors. And for Ken Leung, who wasn’t aware of the unique Nickelodeon animated sequence, Avatar had a special connotation evoking the Na’vi from James Cameron’s blockbuster franchise. Watch him inform the story within the video under.
