Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas will begin operating in the Caribbean, departing from Miami.
It has a total of 20 decks, 365 meters long, 7 pools, 9 Jacuzzis, 8 neighborhoods, 6 “record-breaking” slides, 2,805 cabins and a capacity for 5,610 guests in double occupancy and, adding the crew, the capacity reaches 7,600 people. .
The Icon of the Seas, the new Royal Caribbean ship that is in its final phase of construction, will be the first of its class and the largest cruise ship in the world.
And, as is often the case with Royal Caribbean, every time it presents a new ship, it surprises with its magnitude on the one hand and with the proposals on board.

The Icon of the Seas will surely make people talk. “It sums up 50 years of Royal Caribbean experience and innovation,” says Joaquín Salgueiro, vice president of Organfur.

The eight “neighborhoods” -from Chill Island to Surfside or Central Park- seek to diversify the thematic proposals at all times. Although the ship is considered “the best proposal for the family”, it welcomes all audiences with extremely attractive alternatives, including spaces for adults only.
It also has the Neighborhood Suite, which is a private sector that can only be accessed by those who stay in the sector. A ship within a ship, as it has its own private pool and personalized service.
Icon’s gastronomy is not far behind and stands out with 30 restaurant proposals, while fun is guaranteed with slides, a surf pool and even an outboard walkway that promises super dizzying experiences.
Also noteworthy is the possibility of reserving cabins that have capacity for up to 8 people, ideal for large families or groups of friends.

When will you start browsing?
The ship will begin sailing in January 2024 from Miami, United States, with 7-night voyages through the Caribbean. Depending on your chosen itinerary, there are stops in places like Roatan, Cozumel, St. Maarten, or St. Thomas, to name a few.
They also stop at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas, which complements the trip with fun and relaxation on land.
To give you an idea of the demand, as soon as the Icon of the Seas departures went on sale, in the first two hours all the cabins of the first departure were sold.
