Houston, United States.
This Sunday night the Honduran National Team will debut in the 2023 Gold Cup against the Mexican team.
The match will be held at the NRG Stadium in Houston, and although the time for the start of the match was agreed for 6 in the afternoon (catracha time), it will be delayed.
The match between Tricolor and H will start 36 minutes after what was previously announced by Concacaf. This situation occurred in the game between Trinidad Tobago and San Cristobal for Group A in Florida, which began half an hour later.
The reason why the Honduras game will not start at official time is because previously the same NRG Stadium will host the other match in Group B, Haiti vs. Qatar, a situation that has already happened in other editions of the tournament.
The clash between the Caribbean and Asians begins at 4:00 PM, so after the end of it, a space must be provided for the teams to leave the field so that the Mexicans and Hondurans can warm up.
It should be noted that, due to the protocol of the national anthems, the debut of the Bicolor will start until 6:36 in the afternoon on Catracha land, one hour behind the one held by Houston.
The game will be broadcast by the ESPN signal, a company that will televise all the competition matches exclusively for Central America.
