It has been 30 years since The Nightmare Earlier than Christmas was launched. Whereas there aren’t any agency plans, director Henry Selick has an concept for a possible prequel.
The 1993 stop-motion animated film, from a narrative created by Tim Burton, follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween City, as he stumbles into Christmas City. Intrigued, he tries to include its themes into his city.
The Nightmare Earlier than Christmas is at the moment streaming on Disney+.
In an interview with Individuals journal, Selick alternately drummed up assist for and threw chilly water on an idea for a sequel.
“I feel Tim (Burton) specifically looks like, why mess with that? He definitely does not want to make more cash from a sequel.
