He wants the detainees to be transferred to provincial prisons. And he could change the imputation of four of them.
The routine is always the same: the journalists wait in front of the Chaco Judiciary, where the Special Prosecutor Team that investigates the death of Cecilia Strzyzowski (28) works and from time to time a source from the investigation comes out to answer questions.
“It is true that sectors of the mayor’s offices are being analyzed for future transfers of the seven detainees. The objective is for César and Emerenciano to be housed in different places, to prevent them from organizing strategies,” says one of those consulted by Clarín, who assures that the seven detainees who have the case could be located in the five jails of the province in the coming days.
César Sena, Emerenciano Sena, Gustavo Obregón and Gustavo Melgarejo could be sent to the Resistencia Mayor’s Office, the Sáenz Peña Penitentiary Complex 2 or the Castelli Mayor’s Office. The destination for Marcela Acuña, Fabiana González and Griselda Reynoso would be the Women’s Complex 2, located in the Don Santiago neighborhood of Resistencia.
“The problem is that these people cannot imagine the hatred they generated in the province. They will not be welcome in any unit,” says a person familiar with the Chaco prison environment. The same source adds: “The detainees at the police stations where the members of the Sena Clan are housed have already demonstrated against them. They don’t want them. And not only because of the Cecilia case. There is a lot of resentment from former residents of the Emerenciano neighborhood, or of people who went through the movement and were expelled or mistreated”.

The detainees have another condition that plays against them and it is the “cover”. Those accused of femicide receive the worst treatment in prison. “The provincial units are overcrowded. But it is not that they do not transfer them due to lack of places. They do not take them because up to now they could not provide them with security in any place of accommodation,” says the source. For him, due to the conditions, one option would be an agreement with the Federal Penitentiary Service, so that they are relocated to Unit 7, also in Resistencia.
The other novelty of the case has to do with the charges. The team of prosecutors analyzes making a modification in the accusations of Obregón, González, Malgarejo and Reynoso. They would go from “necessary participants (González) and secondary (the rest) to” concealers “. However, the prosecutors will request preventive detention for them and the Sena, who are accused of Cecilia’s crime.
Research advances
This Saturday, the Georadar Forensic Team of the National Gendarmerie carried out two operations in search of Cecilia’s remains. The first was done at the Sena house, at Santa María de Oro 1460. In addition to tracking with georadar and a dog trained to search for human remains, items that may be of interest to the investigation were kidnapped, such as electronic devices. and sharp objects that would be knives to slaughter animals not found in the previous search.
Then, the six forensics and eight criminalists from the National Gendarmerie continued their work in the Emerenciano Sena neighborhood. There they swept a recently paved street with georadar, also looking for possible remains of the victim under the pavement. This Sunday, the results will be analyzed through software in the Criminalistics Division. The experts will return to activity on Monday in the remaining section of the work, carried out between June 2 and 4, according to the owner of the company in charge of the work. Cecilia has been missing since June 2.

Also for this Sunday afternoon, Gloria, Cecilia’s mother, called for a new mobilization. The order is to march to the police station where Marcela Acuña, mother of her daughter’s ex-husband, and the main suspect of being the perpetrator of the crime, is being held. She asked that the participants bring balloons and pink fabrics, the favorite of her daughter.
