In the Top Story show, the results of the survey by Angi Ricerche” and Top Channel were announced, regarding the approach of the citizens of Durrës after the local elections of May 14, and what they expect from this mandate.
Asked what feeling or perception they have after the result announced on May 14 with leader Emiriana Sakon at the head of the municipality, 59.2% of citizens said “positive” and 40.8% “negative”.
From the mayor, 29.% of citizens expect unemployment to improve, 23% expect crime and security to improve, 22.4% expect a reduction in taxes, 20% expect improvement in public infrastructure, 20% of citizens expect better waste management, 16% expect traffic and pollution to improve.
When asked what reasons citizens think they gave the victory to Mayoress Sako, 58.1% answered “because I have faith in SP”, 53.7% of them think that “she is an important figure”, 42.9% think that she won because of the program, while 41.2 % of citizens think that he made concrete and reliable promises.
As for the reasons why they think that the candidate Igli Cara of “Bashke Fitomje” lost, 38.7% of them think that he made unbelievable promises, 48.4% because the right is divided, 41.2% because he presented a weak program and 20.7% because the candidate proposed was weak.
Asked how they judge the work of the current mayor of the city of Durrës, 59.2% of them answered “positive” and 40.8% “negative”.
The survey of “Angi Ricerche” and Top Channel in the municipality of Durrës was conducted from May 22-24, 2023. In total, 801 people were interviewed, while the margin of error is calculated to be +/- 2.2 percent.
