The investigation into the crime of Gabriel Emilio Ghezzi (55), in Aldo Bonzi (La Matanza), advanced rapidly with the arrest of two suspects: they are 19 and 15 years old.
The oldest was identified as Jorge Facundo Leguizamón, who has a criminal record in three cases for different crimes. The minor, whose identity is withheld for legal reasons, was involved in two others, although he is unimputable.
The arrests were made on Tuesday afternoon in the town of Tapiales and were carried out by agents of the La Matanza Patrol Command and the Departmental Directorate of Investigations of that district.
As detailed by police spokesmen to Télam, the suspects were intercepted aboard a gray Renault Kwid with a request for kidnapping, since it had been stolen in La Matanza.
In the car there were different sports clothes, such as shirts and shorts from different soccer clubs.
The 19-year-old suspect was placed at the disposal of the Functional Unit of Instruction and Thematic Trial in Homicide of La Matanza, in charge of the prosecutor Claudio Fornaro.
According to the sources, this young man has a criminal record in three cases for aggravated robbery, theft and violation of the Drug Law, between August 2021 and August 2022.
Meanwhile, the adolescent was made available to the Prosecutor’s Office of Juvenile Criminal Responsibility Juvenile 2 of that district, directed by Marcelo Germinario.
In his case, he was involved in a car theft committed last February and in another act for carrying a weapon of war and resisting authority in April of this year, although because he is a minor under 15 years of age, he cannot be charged.

This Wednesday the victim’s partner, Paula D’Amato (53), spoke. “They didn’t take anything from him, they only took his life, not his wallet, not his keys, nothing,” she said.
The woman said that at the time of the event, which occurred on Tuesday around 7:40, she was in her room and heard “two shots that seemed to sound inside the house.”
“I hear two shots in the garage, as if it were inside. I ran downstairs in socks, as I was, I saw the door wide open and I thought: a tragedy happened here,” he recalled.

“I saw a neighbor and he, who was lying on the asphalt strip, for me he was dead. I put my hand in his chest… he had a hole in his heart like a nut, I covered it with a jacket and I stayed there,” he added.
“I tell the criminal gentlemen what bad people they are, because killing like that you can kill a dog, not a person. Couldn’t they have shot him in the leg if I had gone out, taken him and saved him? It’s To kill at point blank range is to be a piece of rubbish,” said Paula, who added that her husband “was killed from behind” when he wanted to “run”.
The crime
Ghezzi’s crime was committed at 7:40 on Tuesday at 600 Humahuaca Street, a few meters from the intersection with Ayacucho, in a neighborhood of private houses and Aldo Bonzi’s low-rises, when the victim was taking his white Renault Kangoo truck out of the garage of his home to go to work.
According to the images from a security camera of a neighboring house, the man was approached by three criminals who got out of a red Chevrolet Celta car, in which at least one accomplice was waiting for them.
In the video it can be seen that the victim put the truck in reverse on the sidewalk and when he got out he was first intercepted by one of the thieves who pounced on him when he was standing next to the driver’s door.
They immediately locked in a fight and then the other two accomplices joined, until, at one point in the fight with blows, the man tried to run to the other side, but one of the thieves shot him in the back.
After the attack, the assailants fled aboard the same red car, without completing the robbery.
The victim had a business selling vehicle parts, parts and accessories.
