The Second Chamber of the Sentencing Court of the Sampedran Courts, in a hearing to individualize the sentence, requested more than 53 years in prison for Marlon Alberto Valle García and Josué Nahúm Sabillón Sabillón, convicted of the murder of Juan Ramón Salguero López.
They were also convicted of two murders in their degree of attempted execution to the detriment of Moisés Bautista Guerra and Norma Sidonia Canales Ortiz.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office requested immediate sentences of 22 years for the murder and 17 years and six months for two attempted murders for Marlon Alberto Valle García, alias “Beto Valle”, totaling 57 years in prison; and for José Nahúm Sabillón, alias “El Salvoso”, they requested 21 years for murder and 16 years for attempted murder, which add up to 53 years in prison plus absolute disqualification for both convicted.
The hearing for the reading of the sentence Concrete was scheduled for June 23 at 2:00 pm by the secretariat.
Murder is punished in the Penal Code with an abstract penalty of 20 to 25 years in prison, an amount of imprisonment that is reduced by one third if it is for the unlawful murder in its degree of completed attempted execution.
Facts
José “El Salivoso” and “Beto Valle”, members of the criminal structure “La Rumba”, which operates in the Lopez Arellano Choloma sector, arrived on the night of July 5, 2019 at the “Bautista” alcoholic beverage outlet, owned by of Moisés Bautista Guerra, which is located in “Punta Caliente” of said sector.
Together with these two convicts, at least another 8 armed men arrived who shot at the people inside and outside the establishment and Marlon Alberto Valle García shot from a window and shot the owner.
Likewise, another identified attacker, Arison John Pineda Hércules, who is not part of the trial, shot at Norma Sidonia Canales Ortiz. According to the MP’s accusation, Josué Sabillón immediately killed Juan Ramón Salguero López, who was drinking beer outside the business.
Josué Sabillón has a long criminal record and in March 2022 the fourth chamber found him guilty of the murder of Gustavo Adolfo Perez García.
Before, on August 10, 2021, the fifth chamber also found him guilty of murder in its degree of attempted execution to the detriment of Cesar Eduardo Castellanosthat ruling included Walter José Pineda Martínez, alias “El Chino”.
In addition, previously this same individual on July 19, 2019 was captured on suspicion of drug trafficking, extortion and hit men. He was also apprehended on February 2, 2017 as a suspect in more crimes.
