The Police Directorate Anti Maras and Gangs Against Organized Crime (DIPAMPCO) captured Jose Valentin Maldonado Sola83 years old, who had been tried for 15 years for acts of aggravated lewdness.
DIPAMPCO reported that the octagearian’s apprehension is part of a strategy to execute the pending arrest warrants against citizens who in recent years have avoided being subjected to Honduran justice.
In this sense, in the municipality of Las Flores, department of Lempiraoperations were coordinated with the Police Intelligence Directorate (DIPOL)and DNII, where a citizen who had an outstanding warrant since August 2015 was arrested for acts of aggravated lewdness to the detriment of two females.
The citizen had been evading the authorities for 8 years, so through surveillance and thanks to the collaboration of resident citizens of the municipality of Las Flores he was arrested and was sent to the sentencing court of the city of Gracias, Lempira, where he had already been sentenced to 15 years in prison for which he has been transferred to the Penal Center of the City of Gracias Lempira.
