Agents of the Police Investigation Directorate (DPI) captured Assad Dane Johnson this Sunday afternoon, who was the husband of the doctor Alma Aideé Ferrera andFound dead on April 2 in the Satuyé area of Ceiba.
The doctor who was the owner of the Ferrera clinics was found unconscious inside her room by her roommate who took her to the Atlántida hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
The husband said that she had committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope, however preliminary examinations indicated that the now-deceased woman had several bruises in different parts of her body and that she had died of mechanical suffocation.
The husband was retained hours later for investigation, but released.
This afternoon he was arrested again in the Satuyé sector where he lived with the now deceased after an arrest warrant was issued against him following investigations by the Prosecutor’s Office as the main suspect in the death of the doctor.
