While L-Gante continues to be detained for “illegitimate deprivation of liberty with the use of a weapon”, the musician’s mother spoke to the media and assured that her son was raided by the Police “as if he were the worst drug trafficker in the Argentine Republic”.
The woman had a brief contact with the press at the door of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 9 of General Rodríguez, where the singer was investigated this Thursday by the prosecutor Alejandra Rodríguez.
Elián Ángel Valenzuela -the real name of the musician- was transferred after 5 this morning from the Departmental Directorate of Investigations (DDI) of Quilmes. A large security operation that includes dozens of police officers and a fence surrounded the place this morning.
Claudia, mother of L-Gante, affirmed that it is “an aberration” that the family is not allowed to be present in the place. “We didn’t ask to be in the office, we just asked to be in front of the building and they wouldn’t let us,” she said, adding that her son “is fine.” She finally entered the tax office when the lawyer representing her son arrived.

Regarding the operation that ended with the arrest of the cumbia 420 singer, Claudia said that “they broke the doors of the house” and questioned the magnitude of the raid. “They found nothing, they spent a lot of hours, a lot of police, with weapons, as if it were the house of the worst drug trafficker in the Argentine Republic,” she said.
“Do you know what they kidnapped? Two toy weapons that are from Jamaica (the musician’s daughter), a golden revolver and a longer one that the boys play with,” he added. According to sources in the case, three replicas were seized.
Claudia said that they took notes and letters to her son who, despite being incommunicado, responded and let them know that “emotionally he is fine.”
In this regard, he specified in a dialogue with radio La Red that the singer asked them for “a notepad and a pen.” And he detailed that back and forth: “We sent him very short notes with friends to tell him that we were there and that we supported him. He always responded to us with some histrionic output, always laughing,”
As for the complainant, he said that he is the father of friends of the musician (“not friends from now, but from before”) and questioned: “It is a shame that a person who you fed more than once with one hand, with another hand a dagger is stabbing you”.
“There was no abuse of any person, it is a matter of money and politics. The man (for the complainant Gastón Torres) is a municipal delegate and used the other complainant (Rosa, the woman who was also in the truck) because she is an employee He distorted the words of the lady who was in shock,” he added. However, from the complainant’s environment they responded that the case they initiated is within the criminal jurisdiction and that they are not looking for an economic return.
L-Gante’s lawyer: “He will continue to be detained”
In his turn, Alejandro Cipolla -L-Gante’s lawyer- spoke before meeting his client, of whom he said “he will continue to be detained.”
“He will continue to be detained. He is in a difficult situation due to the legal qualification and it will surely be resolved next week,” he explained.
“I haven’t seen him yet. Depending on how I find him, I will determine whether he testifies or not. I don’t know if he was able to sleep or how he is,” he added about the situation of the musician whom the Justice expected to question him this Thursday.
On the other hand, the lawyer revealed that the woman who appears as one of the two complainants was outside the UFI 9 of General Rodríguez supporting the singer.
“The alleged victim is here with the son supporting Elián’s freedom. She does not understand why they put her as a complainant, she is not,” she said in dialogue with LN+.
On the background that weighs on L-Gante, he assured that “no past complaint has a conviction.” And he added: “He is not a dangerous person, he is already stigmatized as a person of violence.”
In this sense, he referred to the alleged stigma for weapons: “Reporting him for an act of violence with a weapon is already credible for the whole of society. The complaint against L-Ghent
The complaint that led to the arrest of the singer was made on May 27 by Gastón Torres, a neighbor of the L-Gante family in General Rodríguez.
According to the sources, on the morning of that day, at the exit of the “Río” dance venue located in that town, there was an incident with several young members of the so-called “Mafilia”, the group of friends and musicians to which the popular singer belongs. .
When Torres leaves the club to go home, he began to receive threats from Valenzuela: “You messed with La Mafilia, you messed with 420, you’ll see what will happen to you,” he told him, according to said yesterday the complainant’s lawyer, Leonardo Sigal.
After that, always according to the complaint, members of that same group went to his house and physically assaulted both him and his family and then a white BMW drove by L-Gante passed by, lowered the window, pointed a gun at him. and got Torres in the car.
A few meters away, a young woman, a neighbor of the musician, who had participated in the first discussion with the musician’s friends, was also intercepted and forced to get on the same vehicle, according to the complaint.
L-Gante was arrested on Tuesday at his home in General Rodríguez.
Later, and always according to the statements of the complainant lawyer, some members of “La Mafilia” were delayed by the police and L-Gante returned to where the cell phone was, lowered the window and told the agents: ‘Get rid of the kids or this one. I’ll kill you,'” referring to the victim who was being held inside his BMW.
At that time, according to the complaint, the cumbia 420 singer called another person whom he identified with a nickname and told him: “Prepare the little field for me that we will kill this parsley there.”
Torres remained captive for 23 minutes, until L-Gante received a call assuring him that his friends had been released by the police and he released the victims.
An investigator assured Télam that the complaint was later corroborated by dozens of security cameras, by the geolocation of cell phones and by the statements of the police, other witnesses and relatives of the victims.
