Félix Alberto Lallana, the 54-year-old man who was shot in the neck during a robbery at a grocery store in Córdoba last Sunday, was released and assured that his recovery “is a miracle.”
In addition, in dialogue with C5N, he added that he is already “enjoying” his home and that his neck is still “very sensitive” from the shot and cannot move comfortably.
“It’s a miracle, I couldn’t believe this was going to happen. I’ve seen strange things, but I never thought it was going to happen to me. It’s inexplicable, but well… what’s going to be?”
Regarding the fact, he stated that he does not remember anything: “Only that I was inside and then I do not remember anything else. The only thing that I woke up and was in the hospital.”
The victim of the violent scene left the Emergency Hospital of the City of Córdoba this Monday afternoon, after a week of hospitalization.
In addition, he revealed that he will continue with medical check-ups because he still suffers from some pain and immobility in one of his arms, which prevents him from working.
“I walk, but in my arm I have immobility. I have to have myself seen, an MRI, to see if I have any part of my body damaged. My arm hurts a lot, but it hurts more that I can’t do anything. I’m used to working and I can’t do anything, ”he lamented in dialogue with Cadena 3.
His relatives gave some more details about how the man is.
“Alright. She got out of the danger that she had. I am grateful for all the people who supported us. He was born again and I am happy for my children and for me, because we have him here, ”said his wife Claudia, reports the Via Szeta site.
For his part, his father told and reproduces ElDoceTv: “He already walks a little, but you have to give him time. He will have at least two months long, if nothing affects him.”
Days before, Lallana had said that he knew the criminals who committed the robbery in the Matienzo neighborhood of the provincial capital and that they did not take anything from him when they attacked and shot him.
“They didn’t take anything from me, if I didn’t have a peso. I don’t handle money at night, because for example, I work tonight and I only get paid the next day,” he said.
“What need to go out and steal if I have to eat? If I work,” he said. And he said that during the week he collects copper and aluminum and sells it. “With that as with the boys,” she said, as reproduced by Cadena 3.
“I want to finish my little house, help my family, my son. I live day by day, if I don’t live from the bakery, I do whatever: odd jobs, I cut the grass, I paint, I do plumbing, I do a little bit of everything” he commented.
How was the robbery at the grocery store
On May 21, three motorcycles took a man hostage who was at the door of the store, forced him in, forced him to lie on the ground while they were carrying out the robbery, and when he left they shot him in the neck.
There, a 54-year-old man who was waiting at the door for the opening of the store sitting in his truck (he had brought his father), was approached by three motorcycles who forced him to enter the store with them at gunpoint.
While the assault was taking place, one of the criminals subdued the man: he forced him to lie face down on the ground and pointed the gun at his neck.
While one of the thieves took one of the store’s cash registers, the other continued to harass the man lying on the floor, who at no time offered resistance. When the criminal who had the box left the place, the other wanted to kill the 54-year-old man with a point-blank bullet to the head.
The criminals are still on the run.
