“La Marcadora” was arrested by the Police after a raid on her home in Merlo.

To disrupt the gang, it took five raids ordered by Judge Angulo. In Merlo, on 9 de Julio street at 2200, the leader of the criminal group was arrested: La Marcadora.

There, clothing items with which she was filmed in the videos of the case were kidnapped. “Including a black T-shirt and a blouse with a black and white striped print, and two telephones,” reported one of the investigative sources.

Another raid in Merlo, at 2600 Iberá street, three cell phones, a backpack and a blue ID from a motorcycle that would have been used for one of the robberies were seized.

In La Matanza, on Cepeda street at 3300, a man accused of acting as a driver was arrested. In addition, the Volkswagen Gol Trend car that they used as support, 268,000 pesos and four cell phones were seized.

The fourth offender arrested is one of the organization’s alleged motorcyclists: a 47-year-old man nicknamed “El Félix.” At his house located on Azara street at 6900 Moreno, three cell phones were kidnapped, along with the helmet he used to ride the motorcycle and the gray Puma brand sneakers that he wore in one of the events.

The four defendants were detained at the disposal of Judge Angulo, in the framework of a case labeled as “qualified robbery” and “illicit association.”

bank outlets

There are at least three bank exits in which the gang would be involved. The first was on January 25 in the Constitución area.

One of the cars hijacked by the Police after a series of raids.

In a bank located at the intersection of Entre Ríos and San Juan avenues, when the victim was approached by two men in his vehicle and robbed of the two million pesos he had extracted, and a notebook. After the robbery they fled on a motorcycle.

The second event was on February 15 with the same methodology. But this time the chosen neighborhood was Núñez. At the exit of a bank branch located at Av. Cabildo and Paroissien, a woman was robbed of 2,300,000 pesos.

The last of the leaks occurred on March 1 in the Villa Crespo neighborhood. There, the victim was assaulted in the street by two men who beat him, threw him to the ground and stole a backpack in which he had 6,400 dollars and 310,000 pesos that he had taken minutes before from a bank located in that Buenos Aires neighborhood.

Based on the investigation carried out and after analyzing the security cameras, it was determined that the same criminals acted in the three events.

How did the criminals act?

The criminal act consisted of three steps, and the gang’s modus operandi was the same in all three cases: a woman marked the victims and followed them when they left the bank to tell their accomplices in which vehicle they were leaving.

In the second step, two other members of the gang were chasing them on a black Honda Twister motorcycle to steal their money. They also had a support car, a gray Volkswagen Gol Trend which they used to divide and mislead.

With the support of the Image Extraction and Analysis Division, the Robbery and Theft detectives identified the patents of both the motorcycle and the car and thus the members of the gang were identified.
