On 09.07.2023, at Vilë-Boshtovë beach, three Kosovar citizens, members of the same family, drowned while swimming in the sea (the father, about 55 years old, and his two minor sons, about 13 and 15 years old).
The services of the Maritime Police Unit intervened to break it up, but the three citizens died as a result of the sea currents.
The investigative team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident
