Former President Trump on Tuesday berated his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, accusing her of giving up the “wrong” polls during an appearance on Fox News.
“Kayleigh ‘Milktoast’ McEnany just gave the wrong polls on FoxNews. I’m 34 points above DeSanctimonious, not 25 points,” Trump said in a Truth Social postwith his nickname for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

McEnany, who now co-hosts Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” told host Jesse Waters Tuesday night that polls in Iowa showed DeSantis “closing the gap” on the former president after Florida’s governor formally rejected his bid for the president. had announced. 2024 Republican presidential nomination last week.
It was not immediately clear which poll Trump and McEnany were referring to. a recent survey Emerson College polls showed former President DeSantis leading by 42 points among Iowa voters.
