SAN PEDRO SULA.
Two people died after a fatal accident happened in the early hours of this Sunday in the ssecond ring of San Pedro Sula, northern zone of Honduras.
The fatal mishap occurred a few meters from the bridge at the entrance to the Lomas del Carmen sector, on the trail that leads to the Metropolitan Olympic Stadium.
The victims were identified as Bayron Campos and Ericka López, who allegedly went out last night to celebrate a birthday.
Preliminary information, not yet confirmed by the authorities, indicates that the deceased would be a couple, however, it is unknown in which sector of the city they resided.
According to images and videos circulating on social mediathe bodies are still trapped in the middle of the iron mass of the vehicle (black tourism), which was completely destroyed.
The National Police is on the scene cordoning off the tragic scene to investigate the causes of the accident, while a team from the Honduran Fire Department performs work to rescue the lifeless bodies inside the car.
