Two brothers are fortunate to be alive this vacation season after being caught up in an avalanche that buried one brother below snow. 

The avalanche occurred on Christmas Eve within the Steep Hole space of Franklin Basin in Cache County, FOX 13 Information Utah reported. 

The native TV station stated the boys have been using snowmobiles when considered one of them triggered the avalanche.
