The results of the last survey conducted in Tirana for the May 14 elections were announced in the Top Story show, where citizens were asked who is the main contender from the 6 candidates to win the post of mayor.
According to the poll by “Angi Ricerche” and Top Channel, if the local elections were to be held tomorrow, 51.8% of the citizens would vote for the incumbent mayor, Erion Velaijn, for a third term at the head of the municipality of Tirana.
According to the citizens of Tirana, the second contender after Veliaj is Kelliçi, who, according to polls, has received the consent of 38% of the citizens to be the head of the Tirana Municipality, if the elections were held tomorrow.
Only 6.1% would vote for the candidate of the Democratic Party, Roland Bejko, 2.3% for the independent candidate Arlind Qorri, 0.7% for Lajla Pernaske from the PDI and 0.5% for Marko Dajti from the Left Front.
Asked in the survey of “Angi Ricerche” which of the candidates for the leadership of the capital is doing the electoral campaign better, 49.6% think of Veliaj, 34.6% of Kellici and 5.7% of Bejko.
If the local elections were held the next day, when asked if they would participate in the voting, 60% of citizens said “Of course yes” and “Maybe yes”.
Meanwhile, 51.3% of the citizens of Tirana municipality would vote for the Socialist Party if the parliamentary elections were held tomorrow. 37.8% of citizens would vote for the “Together We Win” coalition, and 5.4% would vote for the Democratic Party headed by Enkelejd Alibeaj.
The survey of “Angi Ricerche” and Top Channel in the municipality of Tirana was conducted from May 1 to 5, 2023. In total, 1,057 voters were interviewed, while the margin of error is calculated to be +/- 2.2 percent.
