An Inland Empire high school teacher has been arrested on suspicion of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old student, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Noah Padilla, 24, of Victorville, was taken into custody on Wednesday on suspicion of sexual misconduct with the student from Victor Valley High School in Victorville, the The sheriff’s department reports this in a press release.

Padilla was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, with $30,000 bail. According to arrest records, he was released on Thursday.
