A security camera captured the moment when an ice cream vendor truck hit a house and seriously injured the 12-year-old Honduran boy Javier Adrián Flores Fajardo.
The ice cream truck drove through the Kenner, Louisiana apartment complex where Adrian and his family live.
The little boy is in intensive care at Children’s Hospital New Orleans after sustaining serious injuries after the ice cream truck crashed into his Kenner apartment on Saturday (May 20). Adrián’s family confirmed that the child is still in serious condition at the hospital.
“The child is quite serious, really. It is unfortunate for what he is going through, ”said his father, Javier Flores.
Adrián has already undergone surgery twice since he has fractures in all his legs up to the waist.
The Honduran boy was sitting in his room playing PlayStation and was the first to hit the truck.
