President Joe Biden’s administration is getting backlash online about Sunday’s Pride Month display at the White House as many Twitter users say it violates the US Flag Code.

Biden celebrated the LGBT community in a post-Saturday, unveiling a series of flags hung from the White House that faced the South Lawn. The display features a rainbow-colored Pride flag flanked by two American flags.

Twitter users claim the display violates part of the US Flag Code that dictates that the US flag must be in the center of any display containing multiple national flags or pennants.

“To advance the revolutionary transgender agenda targeting children, Biden violates the basic tenet of the US Flag Code and respects every US military member buried under his flag,” wrote Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.

President Joe Biden speaks at a Pride celebration on the South Lawn of the White House. Some people say that displaying the flag violates the US Flag Code.

Displaying the Pride flag at the White House is a violation of the US Flag Code, social media users say.

Fitton then cited the US Flag Code §7. (e), which reads: “The flag of the United States of America shall be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of states or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and raised from staves are displayed.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

The display was prominent on Saturday during Biden’s Pride Month celebration at the White House.

The event, which featured artists and speakers representing LGBT causes, hailed the Pride community as “the bravest and most inspiring of people” and an example to the US and the world.

“Outside the gates of this house are those who would drag our country backward, and there are so many battles yet to be fought. But today we are not here to be strong. We are not here to be courageous. So many of you, just coming to this event is an act of courage,” said first lady Jill Biden.

Social media users claim that the White House Pride Month display is a violation of the US Flag Code, which mandates that the US flag must be in the center of any multi-flag display.

Biden also praised the LGBT community as “some of the bravest and most inspiring” people he has ever known.
