Izzo tried to resist and before they could hold him down with the seals that the criminals had taken, he took a Bersa-type weapon from his property and faced the shots. The businessman was shot in the face and died in the kitchen.
At the home was also Elsa, the mother of Silvia Petinari, 83, who was in another room and did not suffer or see anything that happened.
The first views of the security cameras in the area showed that the four criminals were hanging around the place before breaking the blind in front of the house and finally fled after the shooting in a Volkswagen car driven by a fifth criminal.
