We all want photography that captures what our eyes see. That’s why smartphone cameras do away with sharpening the megapixel resolution of photography and focus on improving the overall experience to accurately mimic what the human eye sees.
Take the HUAWEI P60 Pro, for example, which has holistically evolved its smartphone camera with the Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera, transforming the experience of photography through the art of light. From a redesigned optical path to a wide-aperture lens, here’s how the P60 Pro’s breakthroughs make it the next big thing in the flagship smartphone market.
Ultra Lighting Camera: No more detail in the dark
It’s always frustrating when parts of an image are obscured by a lack of light, replicating your memories in the most imprecise way. To dispel any darkness in photos, Huawei introduces the Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera in its latest HUAWEI P60 Pro. With a redesigned optical path, it now stands as the industry’s highest light capture smartphone camera: the Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera, along with its multiple lens groups, has a large F2.1 aperture that transmits 178% more light.
How was this possible? Unlike most smartphone telephoto cameras, maintaining the slim size of the smartphone device can mean smaller light-sensitive sensors and aperture size, resulting in blurry photos due to insufficient lighting in a dark environment. The HUAWEI P60 Pro redesigned its optical imaging path to create its Ultra Lighting Lens Group that works in tandem with the RYYB SuperSensing sensor to revolutionize camera light capture. All of this has been achieved even while ensuring that the overall smartphone build remains compact and thin at 200g.
When shooting in dimly lit indoor spaces or on a night out on the town, users now don’t have to fiddle with different filters or add extra equipment to capture all the sights they want in High Dynamic Range (HDR) photos. to take. They can point and shoot instantly to capture the moment without losing any detail or waiting for camera adjustments to be made.
Telephoto Super Macro: Goes the distance so you don’t have to
Surprisingly, the Ultra Lighting Camera can also double as a macro photography camera. Built with an additional set of a Long Travel Slide Zoom Lens Group, it allows flexible control of the focus distance. This means the telephoto camera is capable of capturing clear images from long distance shots to zoomed-in macro close-ups.
And thanks to the camera’s powerful light capture, the HUAWEI P60 Pro’s macro telephoto camera can be used in any lighting condition. This allows you to shoot with your camera at any time of the day; whether on a bright and sunny nature walk or in a dimly lit indoor cinema. This is especially useful when taking pictures of wildlife, even at night. Users can use the telephoto lens from a greater distance to capture animal facial details, even in dark environments. This means you can instantly aim and take a picture of an animal – such as a bee landing on a flower petal or a bird resting in a tree – without having to get close to it and potentially distracting or frightening the subject.
SLR-level image stabilization: rotation of the telephoto anti-shake sensor
The HUAWEI P60 Pro also introduces the first Telephoto Anti-Shake Sensor Rotation, which uses the opposing dynamic movement of the sensor instead of the dynamic movement of the lens.
In the HUAWEI P60 Pro, the optical distance is shorter thanks to the anti-shake sensor, eliminating any unsightly effects from unstable or jittery hands. Under the same error accuracy, the performance of optical image stabilization has been greatly improved. From the center of the photo to the four corners, the anti-shake consistency increases by 58%.
Super Moon Scene: Re-imagine the night sky
The new Super Moon Scene gives users a new creative tool to photograph the moon in a brand new light. Gone are the days of over-zoomed blurry moon photos – Super Moon Shot uses AI to enhance the details of the moon to produce better and clearer photos of the night sky. With an advanced focus mode and HDR effects, the smartphone’s camera can capture an accurate and richly detailed image of the moon from wherever you are.
Users who enjoy night photography can experiment with this feature and juxtapose the moon with scenic views, such as dramatic city skylines or silhouetted forests. With no previous inhibitions of poor quality nighttime photos, nature and landscape enthusiasts can now take their smartphone cameras on a nighttime shoot.
