-From Dhërmiu to Lake Koman, 11 watercraft are blocked (4 Jet Skis, 1 speedboat, 1 dinghy and 5 craft motorboats), after they were found to be illegal. The drivers of these vessels were punished with administrative measures ranging from 10,000 to 200,000 new lek.

– In Durrës, the captain of a Libyan motor fishing boat was punished with an administrative measure of 300,000 new lek.

Border Police Services throughout the country, in implementation of the plan of measures for continuous control along the coastline, with the aim of increasing security parameters during the tourist season, have continued monitoring the areas where the vessels move, to verify the implementation of the law and navigation rules, as well as for the verification of the documentation needed for their direction.

In Dhërmi, Durrës and Shengjin, the Border Police services have blocked 3 Jet Ski boats that were sailing in the zone designated for vacationers. The drivers of these vehicles were punished with an administrative measure of 100,000 new alleks each.

In Palasa, the services of the Border Police have blocked 1 other Jet Ski boat, as the owner of this vehicle was engaged in the activity of renting out boats, without being registered with the competent authorities.

Also in Dhërmi, the services of the Border Police have imposed an administrative measure of 20,000 new lek on the owner of a boat, since he did not have the relevant documentation to go out to sea. Meanwhile, in Radhima, Vlora, these services have fined the owner of a dinghy with an administrative measure of 100,000 new lek, after it was beached in a prohibited area, near the beach’s coastline.

The Border Police Services of Durrës have fined 300,000 new lek administrative measures to the captain of a Libyan motorized fishing boat, after he left the port without notifying the marine captaincy.

The Border Police Services of Shkodra, in cooperation with the services of the Local Police Directorate of Shkodra, in implementation of the tasks defined in the plan of measures, have continued the controls in Lake Koman, with the aim of increasing the safety parameters of citizens and tourists, which use boats for day tourism.
As a result, the Police services have blocked 5 craft boats and punished their administrators with an administrative measure of 10,000 new lek each.

The Border Police Services, in cooperation with the police services in the districts, will continue the controls along the entire coastal, lake and river line, with the aim of verifying the documentation of the vessels, determining the safety of these vessels used by citizens and by tourists, for day tourism, as well as for the implementation of navigation rules, by users of these vehicles.

The State Police appeals to all citizens to report any illegality related to the use of watercraft to the toll-free number 112, guaranteeing a quick and legal response.
