Xiaomi’s top of the range seeks to dispute the title of best Android on the market.
The title for the best photographic module, at least on Android, is a title in which several manufacturers compete. The one that seems to have a clear advantage over the rest, judging by its latest releases, is Xiaomi. With the launch of the 13 Ultra, it confirms the clear difference that separates it from its rivals.
It is officially presented this Tuesday and for a few days, the company has been sliding some features, with a Leica super camera that just look at it to realize its power.
The new premium smartphone from the Chinese company will arrive in two colors: white and green and will bet on a design very similar to that of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
But unlike the previous generation, in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the gigantic circular module will be directly integrated into the chassis and not located in a large glass window.

The current model will maintain the association with Leica, and will include a more advanced configuration than the rest of the models, thanks to a new optical system and a Summicron lens, as confirmed by the company.
“We believe that the perfect lens must have a large aperture, a compact size, and high imaging performance throughout the entire focal range across the entire range of focal lengths,” the firm said in a statement.
This module consists of four cameras: a main one with a 50 MP image stabilizer, a 48 MP ultra-wide angle, a 48 MP telephoto lens, and a depth sensor.
Leica noted that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a new optical system, presumably to take pictures with a longer zoom range than the 13 Pro, which achieves up to 3.5x magnification.
Judging by its size and thickness, most of the specialized critics maintain that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the best mobile phone on the market for photography this year, with the iPhone 15 as the only rival.

As for the rest of the features, it will have many specifications inherited from the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which was presented a month ago. It is expected to bring the same processor and identical configuration of RAM and storage.
The franchise terminal will mount a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with LTPO technology, with QHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen. 2 chip.
The processor will be accompanied by different versions of RAM and storage, starting with a base configuration of 8 GB + 256 GB, another with 12 GB of RAM with the same storage and a last variant with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory.
The battery will be slightly higher than that of the 13 Pro, with a capacity of 4,900 mAh. Curiously, the fast charge will be lower, reaching 90 W instead of the 120 W included in the Pro model. The wireless will be 50 W and with IP68 certification for resistance to water and dust.
Its textured finish is very reminiscent of its predecessor, but what is most surprising is its thickness, which is more accentuated in the upper half, allowing it to accommodate a huge camera module. Its price is estimated to be around $1,400.
