The authorities and family members also found a letter written by the minor in which he explained the reasons why he made the decision to take his own life.

“I am Featherweight”, the boy had written, and said that he was tired of the excessive control and vigilance that his parents exercised against him in forbidding him not only to listen to his favorite artist, but also to dress the same way he does. Featherweight.

The State Prosecutor’s Office added that, in the letter, the minor did not want to hold anyone responsible for his decision, but that he was upset because his parents “did not accept him as he was.”

On June 1, the minor’s schoolmates said goodbye to him with white balloons and applause during his funeral procession through the municipality of Coahuila.

Featherweight has not currently ruled on the case, but users recovered an interview that the singer did a year ago where he assured that “it was not correct for children to listen to his music.”
