“X-Males ’97” hit 4 million views in its first 5 days on Disney+.

The collection has been positively obtained, scoring a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes with Selection critic Alison Herman writing that the collection “dedicate(s) its energies to doing proper by a nostalgia object whereas introducing itself to a brand new viewers,” for which it ” can take larger, wilder swings in its story, staying true to the fantastical nature of comics writing whereas remaining grounded in characters’ feelings.”
